March 18th – 20th 2022.

The 2022 BIG Running Weekend is booked and the date confirmed – Here we go!

For 2022 we have added plenty of new sessions and workshops so you can be sure that over the course of the weekend there will be more going on than you can shake a stick at! Check out the timetables below and you can find out what sessions are on offer.

Friday 18th

5:30 pm Everybody welcome – It’s Pizza Time!!
6 pm NEW : Black Diamond Junior Intro Night Trail Run – 4km. 9yrs and upwards.
6 pm Strength & Stability Session
7:15 pm Running the “BIG 4 at 40” with Record Breaking Ultra Runner Ross Jenkins Supported by Dynafit
8:30 pm Black Diamond Led Night Run (Blue Route) 5km

Saturday 19th

8 am Led Run (Red Route) 14km
9 am NEW : Coached Session: Developing Hill Strength with Intervals, Intro – Experienced.
9:30 am Coached Session: Running with Poles
10:30 am Family Run: Led Run (Blue Route) 5km
10:30 am NEW : Running For Head-Space
11:00 am NEW : Workshop: Presentation with Q&A, Menopause and Running
11:30 am Coached Session with WoodRun: Running Technique Part I
Midday Coached Session: Running for Fitness Past 50
12:30 pm Coached Session: Fine Tuning Your Running Technique
1:00 pm NEW : Family Session: WoodRun and The Games We Play for Running Fitness with Youngsters
1:30 pm Coached Session: Improving Your Up Hill Running Technique
2 pm NEW : Workshop: Head Games – Dealing with Anxiety When Racing
3 pm Running with Championship Runner Jo Pavey: Led 5km or 10km Woodland Run, supported by Saucony.
5 pm NEW : Running Mobility Session

9 am NEW : Running Workshop: Developing Your Speed
9:30 am Woodland Led 10km Run (Blue Route)
10:00 am Coached Session with WoodRun: Running Technique Part II
10:30 am Workshop : Goal Setting and Race Planning
11:30 am Coached Session with WoodRun: Running Stability
Midday Workshop : Fitness for Running an Ultra or Multi Day Event
1 pm Woodland Led 5km or 10km Run (Blue Route)
1 pm Coached Session : Junior Running Session
1:30 pm NEW : Strength & Stability Session, plus end of day mobility
2 pm NEW : WoodRun (The Games We Play)
3 pm Coached Session: Down Hill technique
